More than 200 trucks are parked on the border with China at a Russian checkpoint.
According to the Deputy Minister of Planning and Development of the Trans-Baikal Territory Stanislav Matveyev, as of June 1, more than 800 thousand tons of cargo had accumulated on the Chinese side. The Office of Foreign Affairs of Manchuria has decided to increase the passage of trucks to 100 vehicles per day. At the same time, the pass will continue to be carried out according to the lists that are previously agreed upon by the Chinese side. The imperfection of this procedure led to machine downtime.
"To date, 212 freight vehicles have accumulated at the border. An agreement has been reached with the Chinese side that those vehicles that were included in the list and did not have time to leave earlier will be allowed through," the deputy minister said.
